Healthy food that can help boost your kids immunity

As if the flu season was not enough to worry about, we now have the COVID-19 pandemic looming over our heads. At this time, it has become even more important to take care of your health as well as the health of your family members. You have to be extra cautious with children. While children have immunity that is surely stronger than ours still there are times when they are prone to catching the slightest of infections. Many of them are fussy eaters and are also not very careful with hygiene too. This makes it necessary to take care of their health and make them eat a proper diet.

➡️CITRUS FRUITS- They are obviously rich in the very important vitamin C that helps in white blood cell production which help fight infection. It is advisable to make sure that your children have at least some consumption of citrus fruits rather than giving them doses in the form of supplements
.
➡️LEGUMES- Legumes make up for very important vitamins and minerals that are supposed to be beneficial for your child’s health. Therefore, it is necessary that you add foods like beans, chickpeas and lentils when planning their meals
.
➡️YOGURT- It is advisable to take yoghurts be it plain or flavoured. They are rich in probiotic elements and help keep up your gut health. Also, they taste even better in scorching summers
