We are often so busy in our lives that we tend to forget to give back to society. I as an individual always think about donating things to the underprivileged but am never able to plan it out. This time when Godrej came up with their campaign and wanted me to be a part of it, it was an overwhelming feeling. Around 60 pieces of woolens were arranged for these kids you see in the picture on the occasion of children’s day.
I donated these to a blind school for girls where there were girls from the age of 8 to 15. 90% girls here were completely blind and 10% were partially blind.
And what better occasion could it be than Children’s day itself. I took my daughter along because I want to inculcate the emotion of sharing in her too. This is how I celebrated children’s day with these angels. #caringisezee
Take it Ezee
As we all can see, winter is coming. The days are getting shorter, the nights longer. There is a slight chill in the air, already.
What’s the thing we need most in this weather?
A sweater to keep us warm.
Do you know that many underprivileged kids cannot go to school because they don’t have a sweater?
That’s right. Many children in India cannot step out of their homes to go to school because they feel cold in the winters. Why? Because they don’t have woolen clothes to hug them and enable them to study without interruption.
Well, that is set to change, with Godrej Ezee’s Ezee Hugs campaign.
As part of this campaign, bloggers and other social interest groups are partnering up with Godrej Ezee to provide sweater to kids from underprivileged homes. They are driving to schools which provide education to these children and distributing sweaters among them.
Nice, isn’t it? Every Indian child deserves the comfort of a warm woolen hug in the winters, so they can study, grow and become tomorrow’s leaders to stir the country ahead.
