Painting the town Indigo

Hello everybody, I hope you’re all doing great. It’s been long since I was planning to do an outfit post but got caught up with something or the other. The pictures from this post have been shot at one of the most beautiful places in New Delhi, The old fort. This was my first time there but trust me I was completely awestruck. One colour that was constantly on my mind was Indigo.

Here I am, wearing the most comfortable thing I can ever find, an A line kurta. Now A line kurtas are very much back in trend and they look gorgeous on all body types. My favourite is however Indigo any given day. There is a particular reason why I prefer indigo to other too. It is such a universal colour and always compliments every skin tone it is worn on. I got this beautiful kurta from Jabong ( it was actually a gift).

I wanted to keep my look very simple and also very wearable, so  I paired my black straight pants instead of a proper pair of leggings. I got my straight pants from forever21 for a steal price of Rs 650. These are undoubtedly the most comfy pair I own. I wanted to create sort of an Indo western look so that’s the reason I switched from the usual leggings to actuall denim pants. Paired this simple outfit with juttis from a local market and my all time favourite silver earrings. I feel these oxidised earrings add so much character to any outfit you wear. I got them from connaught place for mere 40 Rs.

The following outfit is my go to because I love how versatile it is. The person wearig it can make it, it’s own by just adding a character, accessory of their choice.

Do let me know in the comments below on how you like this look, more look books coming up on the blog soon.
