Little travellers need a surprising amount of stuff. Here is a check list that helps you stay organised while packing and also to ensure that you dont forget anything.
PACKING CHECK LIST
One for each hour you will be in transit and extras just in case you have a delay in the flight
PAD TO PUT UNDER YOUR BABY DURING DIAPER CHANGE
An anti leak sheet/pad of cloth is very important to carry along for your babys diaper changes for you never know how unhygienic the place is where your putting your baby down.
Usually it tends to get extremely chilly in flight. You never know when you might need a blanket with the baby.Better to carry one,a light and a warm one would be the best to carry to avoid extra bulk to carry.
EXTRA OUTFIT FOR YOU AND THE BABY
Carrying extra outfit for yourself and the baby can never be a bad idea.Babys generally tend to throw up or spill things and you surely would not want to be roaming around stinking in the same clothes.
FORMULA AND WATER
If your baby is on milk diet and you obviously cannot carry the same,it is here when the formula comes handy. Most airlines allow these things to be carried in your hand luggage if you have a baby along. Also it is the best to feed the baby boiled water and not use the water from anywhere outside to avoid unwanted infections.
FEEDING BOTTLES AND SIPPY CUPS
It is best to carry extra bottles because you would not be able to steralise and wash them properly while travelling and would not want to use the same bottle again. Also sippy cups come in very handy be it to feed any liquid to the baby. And always remember more is less with the baby.
SLING OR A FRONT CARRIER
The best way to remain free handed with the baby in crowded places like airport. Not only it creates a hassle free travel journey but also ensures that you are not constantly worried about where your little one might run away.
Just so you don’t feel tired carrying the baby around all the time.Carrying a light weight collapsible stroller is a great option. It can also be gate checked while boarding and stored in the over head compartment.
Be very sure to carry pain relievers with the baby. Also carry every medicine even though you might not need them. Its always better to have them lying around than running around searching for them in a new place/country.
Be very sure to carry them to dispose of the dirt diapers.
Hope this helped you guys.
